Position Overview:
Points East Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Greenville is seeking a Hospital Administrator to lead our established emergency hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. This hospital, with a tenured veterinarian and support team, has served Eastern North Carolina for twenty years.
Working in close partnership with the partner veterinarian Paige Harrington, DVM, the Director of Operations, and Director of Team Development, the Hospital Administrator, a new role for the hospital, will lead this team, growing it into its next chapter.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your impact will affect the region’s veterinary medicine. You will oversee all non-clinical operations, including team development, financial performance, client experience, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a growing team of veterinary professionals from veterinary assistants to veterinarians
- Function as the daily decision-maker and “go-to” resource to address issues while working to create systems to reduce preventable ones
- Help develop and optimize workflow into consistent and methodical processes while promoting team buy-in
- Work closely to develop a healthy and sustainable organizational structure to reach the full potential of the team and each of its members
- Serve as a culture champion and lead by example with a positive “can-do” outlook
- Guide, manage, and develop managers and promote a collective effort
- Continually challenge the ceiling on client experience and team development
Experience and Education:
- Experience preferably in a human or veterinary healthcare
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a high aptitude for learning
