You will play a critical role in ensuring product authenticity and maintaining trust within a global digital marketplace by reviewing sneaker listings before they go live. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll help identify counterfeit products, verify listing accuracy, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives that directly impact customer confidence and operational performance. Accountabilities:
  • Review and authenticate sneaker listings to ensure all products meet marketplace authenticity and quality standards before publication.
  • Verify listing details such as size, condition, accessories, release information, and product categorization accuracy.
  • Identify manipulated images, inconsistencies, counterfeit indicators, or inaccurate product descriptions during the authentication process.
  • Support moderation requests from community and marketing teams while maintaining marketplace integrity.
  • Analyze authentication defect reports to improve accuracy, consistency, and operational processes.
  • Stay current on sneaker releases, industry trends, authentication methods, and emerging counterfeit practices.
  • Participate in training sessions, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen team expertise.
  • Assist with the development of authentication resources, guides, and operational checkpoints.
  • Contribute to operational goals related to quality, efficiency, service-level agreements, and defect reduction.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of sneaker culture, footwear trends, and major sneaker brands including Nike, Jordan, Adidas/Yeezy, New Balance, ASICS, Vans, Converse, Salomon, HOKA, and designer collaborations.
  • Specific interest or experience in sneaker authentication, counterfeit detection, and release history analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to make consistent and accurate decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for online fashion or sneaker marketplaces and community-driven platforms.
  • Professional judgment and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Ability to commit to approximately 20–30 hours per week and attend team meetings regularly.
  • Work authorization in the United States.
