Senior Analyst - Treasury Shared Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst - Treasury Shared Services based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to support critical treasury and payment operations within a fast-growing financial technology environment.
You will manage complex transaction workflows, investigate payment issues, and ensure accurate processing of customer fund movements.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Analyst - Treasury Shared Services, you will support daily treasury and payment operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient processing of financial transactions. You will investigate operational issues, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to improving workflows, controls, and service delivery.

  • Execute daily treasury operations, including refunds, returns, redemptions, cash movements, and transaction exception handling.
  • Ensure all operational activities are completed accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Investigate and resolve transaction-related issues using internal systems, banking platforms, and available data sources.
  • Manage payment investigations, escalations, and exception workflows while applying appropriate risk controls.
  • Support banking partner operations, including wire activities, trace requests, callbacks, and issue resolution.
  • Review and manage operational tickets, case queues, and escalations with clear documentation and timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, automation, and scalability.
  • Support incident management activities, operational reporting, audits, and service reviews.
  • Maintain and improve operational documentation, procedures, and process guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-assisted workflows to enhance treasury operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a finance and operations professional with experience in treasury, payments, banking, or fintech environments. You should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume financial workflows while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • 4+ years of experience in treasury operations, payments, banking, fintech, or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience managing payment workflows such as wire transfers, refunds, returns, reconciliations, or transaction investigations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume operational processes.
  • Ability to follow structured procedures while identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience using operational tools such as ticketing systems, dashboards, trackers, or workflow management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate issues and determine appropriate escalation paths.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information and customer data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, digital assets, or regulated financial services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with incident management, operational risk controls, and escalation processes is a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, SQL, Python, or business intelligence platforms is beneficial.
  • Experience creating SOPs, operational documentation, and process playbooks is highly valued.
