Job Summary
- Seeking an Agile Developer / Test Engineer to support Government test and evaluation activities in an Agile development environment
- Responsibilities will vary based on experience level and will include manual and automated test execution, requirements analysis, test planning, data collection and analysis, and coordination with other test organizations
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute approved test plans using both manual and automated test cases
- Document and report test execution status, results, defects, and findings
- Analyze system requirements, system descriptions, and concept of operations documents to develop test and evaluation plans and procedures
- Prepare for and conduct test data collection and analysis
- Develop and maintain test cases, procedures, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Government, development, and external test organizations to support integrated T&E activities
- Support Agile development teams by incorporating testing throughout the development lifecycle
- Assist with defect identification, retesting, regression testing, and release-readiness activities
- Use collaborative engineering and test-management tools to maintain requirements, test evidence, and execution status
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a science, mathematics, engineering, or related technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering
- At least six (6) years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience
- Experience executing manual and/or automated software tests
- Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into test cases or procedures
- Experience documenting and reporting test results
- Ability to work collaboratively within technical and Agile teams
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including:
- Jira
- Confluence
- TestRay / SynapseRT
- Familiarity with basic Linux tools and command-line utilities.
- Experience with browser-based automated testing tools such as:
- Playwright
- Selenium
- Experience with additional test and automation tools such as:
- Cucumber
- Gherkin
- JMeter
- Swagger or similar API testing tools
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
145,000 - 165,000 USD per year(NBP)
