Quality Auditor (Temporary)

Location: Plant City, FL 33566

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17.48/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Rotation: 3 Days On / 2 Days Off OR Monday - Friday (depending on production and business needs).

Day Shifts (A & C Shift) ? 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Night Shifts (B & D Shift) ? 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Position Summary

The Quality Auditor is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, documenting, and reporting product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role helps ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing defects and supporting production efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform line inspections and quality audits.
2. Conduct laboratory testing, including destructive and non-destructive testing.
3. Complete sampling and inspection of bottle components and finished products.
4. Accurately record quality data and maintain required documentation.
5. Identify and reject non-conforming materials and products.
6. Perform incoming material inspections.
7. Verify correct bottle and unit orientation.
8. Ensure scrap recovery procedures are followed.
9. Maintain quality records and computer data files.
10. Work closely with Quality, Production, Conversion, and Logistics teams.
11. Follow all company safety policies and housekeeping standards.
12. Report quality and food safety concerns when identified.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

? Associate's Degree in a related field OR 3+ years of quality-related experience

? Previous manufacturing or quality control experience preferred

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

? Basic math skills

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Self-motivated and team-oriented

? Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English

? Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

1. Standing and walking throughout the shift.
2. Lifting up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
3. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
4. Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and conveyors.
5. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
6. Overtime may be required.
