Frontend Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Engineer based in India.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will develop high-performance, responsive web applications that help clinicians reduce administrative workloads and focus more on their patients. You will work primarily with React and TypeScript to build intuitive user interfaces, implement complex data structures, and ensure reliable platform performance. Beyond feature development, you will help configure customer accounts, solve challenging technical problems, and create internal tools that support business growth. Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will have meaningful ownership over product quality and technical implementation. Accountabilities- Frontend Development: Build, enhance, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, ensuring an intuitive and consistent user experience across devices and environments.
- Complex Data Structures and Application Logic: Translate complex business and clinical requirements into structured data schemas, application logic, and scalable technical configurations that support reliable platform functionality.
- Platform Configuration and Account Optimization: Manage the technical setup of new customer accounts, ensuring that application logic, data structures, and platform configurations align with individual customer requirements and clinical workflows.
- Bug Fixing and Technical Support: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve frontend defects, configuration issues, and other technical challenges to maintain platform stability and minimize disruptions for users.
- Internal Tools and Workflow Automation: Develop internal tools, administrative interfaces, and automated workflows that reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and support the platform's expansion across diverse clinical environments.
- Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Monitor frontend performance, troubleshoot data-intensive workflows, and implement optimizations that improve application speed, reliability, and responsiveness as usage grows.
- Scalability and Code Quality: Contribute to modular component design, application architecture, automated testing, and engineering best practices to ensure the platform remains maintainable as it scales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, founders, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, communicate progress, and deliver solutions aligned with product priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify complex implementations, improve data consistency, and strengthen the technical foundations that support new features and evolving customer needs.
- Professional Experience: 2–3 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on modern frontend development and hands-on experience building production-ready web applications.
- Frontend Technologies: Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with the ability to develop reusable components and maintain clean, reliable frontend code.
- Application State and Data Management: Experience managing complex application state, data flows, and structured information across interconnected components and workflows.
- Responsive Design: Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and experience creating responsive, accessible, and visually consistent user interfaces.
- Analytical and Logical Thinking: Ability to translate non-standardized information and complex requirements into clear data structures, logical application behavior, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to implementation, including identifying inconsistencies in interfaces, data structures, configurations, and application behavior.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills and the ability to investigate unfamiliar problems, develop practical workarounds, and resolve issues independently.
- Ownership and Adaptability: Willingness to take responsibility for both major feature development and detailed implementation tasks, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues in a remote setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale frontend architectures, data-intensive applications, performance optimization, automated testing, and modular component design.
- AI and LLM Experience: Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, and techniques for generating, refining, or validating structured AI outputs is an advantage.
- Internal Tooling Experience: Previous experience building administrative dashboards, internal applications, or automation scripts that simplify operational and engineering workflows is beneficial.
