Wip Cooler Pallet Jack Operator - 2nd Shift in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania at Bell and Evans

Bell & Evans is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pallet Jack Operator to support production and shipping operations. This position is responsible for moving palletized products to designated areas, ensuring product is available to maintain production flow, and assisting with staging and loading products for shipment.

The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, maintains accurate inventory labeling, communicates effectively with team members, and takes immediate action to address potential safety or product quality concerns.

• Move palletized products to designated areas to support production and shipping needs.

• Follow supervisor instructions to ensure product is available on the production floor and operations continue efficiently.

• Communicate promptly with supervisors when product shortages or potential delays may affect production.

• Prepare pallets for safe handling and create combination bins as needed.

• Perform pre-operation inspections of the pallet jack to ensure it is in proper working condition.

• Operate pallet jacks safely and follow all established safety procedures.

• Assist with staging and loading Bell & Evans products in preparation for shipment.

• Apply, consume, and maintain appropriate product and container labels to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Immediately report safety hazards, product quality concerns, or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

• Six to twelve months of previous pallet jack operating experience preferred.

• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding product handling and inventory accuracy.

• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and support production deadlines.
