Portola Paints is seeking motivated employees who are eager to learn and develop skills through hands-on training provided by their manager. This role is best suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently while meeting production goals.

• Paint dry samples of colors in various finishes offered by the company on a daily basis
• Meet production goals and project deadlines consistently
• Perform sample-related tasks including wrapping, labeling, applying stickers, organizing, color matching, quality checking, collecting, and stacking materials
• Properly care for and maintain tools and equipment used during production
• Track and manage inventory as required
• Follow all company standards, procedures, and instructions provided by management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Painting dry samples daily for our Color Tools.
• Maintain organized inventory and workspace systems.
• Ensure a high degree of accuracy across all steps per project.
• Maintain visual consistency and quality across all projects/products.
• Meet quality standards of the company.
• Meet daily quantities set by the manager.
• Meet daily, weekly and monthly goals set by the manager.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Communicate any project needs, status, revisions, project details and timeline changes to Color Tool Manager.

• Able to properly and safely lift 30lbs on a regular basis.
• Stand for long periods of time (8 hour shift)
• May be exposed to paint fumes and dust.
• Basic Reading and Math skills.
• Must be okay with repetitive work.
• Painting experience not required but preferred.
• Any artistic experience is preferred.
• Extreme attention to detail is essential.
• Organizational abilities and time management skills.
