Overview:
Platinum Resort Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager (Trainee) to oversee the daily operations of one of our Georgetown locations. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the Manager will ensure that our grandparents receive exceptional care while maintaining compliance with regulations and fostering a positive environment for our grandparents and staff.

This is an Operations Manager (Trainee) role. You'll start as a salaried manager and go through our hands-on Manager Bootcamp, learning every shift and the kitchen alongside our team. From there, you'll learn the behind-the-scenes work of running the home — with a clear, structured path to becoming a full Operations Manager and beyond.

What the first few months look likeManager Bootcamp — on the floor as a Platinum Angel
- Week 1: Day shift (6am–2pm)
- Week 2: Evening shift (2pm–10pm)
- Week 3: Overnight shift (10pm–6am)
- Week 4: Kitchen
You can't lead a shift you've never worked. By the end of bootcamp, you'll have lived every shift and the kitchen, learned our Grandparents by name, and understood the rhythm of the home.
Office training — behind the scenes Once you've got the floor and kitchen down, you'll move into the office to learn the real work of running a mansion: medication management, ordering, maintenance, inspection readiness, scheduling, and communicating with families and our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Facility Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the home.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of caregivers (Platinum Angels), medical staff, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss updates, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
- Resident Care and Family Engagement:
- Ensure all Grandparents receive personalized care plans that are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our grandparents and their families, addressing concerns with compassion and professionalism.
- Organize and promote activities to enhance well-being and engagement among our grandparents.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure our home meets or exceeds local, state, and federal assisted living regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and safety checks to maintain compliance and high standards.
- Establish and enforce safety protocols for grandparents, visitors, and our TEAM..
- Staffing and Development:
- Recruit, train, and retain skilled staff to ensure a high standard of care.
- Manage TEAM schedules, resolve conflicts, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture, encouraging professional growth.
- Community Engagement:
- Represent our home at local events and build relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources.
- Maintain a positive reputation for our home within the community.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar environment. No management experience required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR) and basic computer software.
- A people person who genuinely loves seniors and wants to serve our Grandparents
