Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving large-scale data systems that support advertising products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance. You will define technical direction for ads data infrastructure and contribute to long-term architectural decisions.

  • Build and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines, ETL workflows, and foundational datasets supporting ads delivery, targeting, and measurement
  • Develop and optimize data models, analytical frameworks, and feature pipelines that support machine learning and ranking systems
  • Design and implement data quality, monitoring, and anomaly detection systems across high-volume datasets

  • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and drive execution of complex data engineering projects
  • Mentor engineers and help establish best practices for scalable, high-performance data systems
  • Balance immediate product needs with long-term infrastructure evolution and technical strategy
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in large-scale data engineering within advertising or consumer-scale systems, with strong technical fluency and a track record of building production-grade data infrastructure. You are comfortable working in ambiguous environments and collaborating across technical and business functions.

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong focus on advertising technology, ad delivery, targeting, or measurement systems
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and maintaining complex data pipelines handling high-volume structured and unstructured data
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in modern data engineering frameworks and tooling
  • Strong background in building data systems for ad tech, including conversion tracking, ad ranking, or third-party data integrations
  • Proven experience implementing data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and automated remediation at scale
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as Airflow, dbt, Dagster, BigQuery, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong focus on execution, problem-solving, and engineering excellence
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ($248,000 – $279,000 USD) plus equity and performance-based compensation
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity participation in a high-growth technology company
  • Flexible remote work environment within the United States
  • Support for professional development and technical growth
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on innovation and engineering excellence
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale systems impacting millions of users globally
