This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Key Account Sales in the United States.
This executive leadership role is responsible for building and scaling a new physician-facing field sales organization that will directly drive adoption of enhanced healthcare service programs nationwide. You will define and execute the go-to-market strategy across key accounts, including physicians, clinics, hospital networks, and pharmaceutical partners. The role combines strategic planning, hands-on commercial leadership, and team building from the ground up. You will recruit, train, and lead a high-performing field sales team while establishing the operational frameworks, playbooks, and performance culture needed for scalable growth. Working closely with senior commercial leadership, you will translate business objectives into field execution and measurable revenue impact. This is a highly visible role with significant influence on market expansion, customer adoption, and long-term commercial success.
- Build and lead a national physician-facing field sales organization, including hiring, onboarding, and developing Regional Account Directors.
- Design territory structures, coverage models, call planning frameworks, and overall field sales strategy to maximize market penetration.
- Develop scalable sales playbooks, training programs, and onboarding processes to improve ramp time and field effectiveness.
- Own revenue forecasting, pipeline visibility, and achievement of growth targets tied to program adoption and script volume.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as win rates, sales cycle length, conversion rates, and rep productivity.
- Drive full sales lifecycle execution, from account identification and outreach to conversion and long-term account retention.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, account management, and sales operations to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategy.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, clinics, and healthcare networks to accelerate adoption of programs at scale.
- 5+ years of direct sales experience with a strong record of quota attainment and pipeline ownership.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, including building, managing, and scaling high-performing field sales teams.
- Proven experience in physician sales, healthcare commercial strategy, or similar field-based B2B sales environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute go-to-market strategies in new or emerging markets.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and hold teams accountable to performance targets.
- Deep understanding of sales operations, territory planning, and data-driven performance management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare technology, or hub services environments is a plus.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000.
