Job Description

About Us:

Norsat International Inc. is seeking a student enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing, Business Administration or Operations management to work as intern in Mid-January 2025. Throughout the internship, you will share wonderful experiences with different team members ranging from the CEO & President, Marketing and Product Manager and Business Analysts. In this internship, you will be exposed to learning, development and mentoring sessions while being offered a chance to add value through your unique and fresh perspective.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the team in the development and implementation of effective warehouse and inventory system project
  • Participate in meeting with project stakeholders to gather requirements and discuss project status updates.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, such as test plans, design documents.
  • Test and troubleshoot business system to ensure they meet project requirements and are working as
  • expected.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project success.
  • Review current workflows and develop new workflows and work structures.
  • To provide support to Production & Planning teams with system issues
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge with REST based APIs, data integration and data mapping is an asset

Work Hours:

Minimum 16 hrs./ week and up to 24 hrs per week; minimum 4 months and maximum 6 months; specific weekly schedule to be determined closer to the start date or during the interview. The internship has 460 hours in total.
