Newbridge Spine & Pain Center, a proud member of the Privia Medical Group network, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Office Manager to lead our administrative operations in Frederick, Maryland. Newbridge is an advanced, interventional pain management practice dedicated to helping patients find relief from chronic spine and joint pain through minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee all daily functions of the front office and administrative teams within our Clinic and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), working in close partnership with the Clinical Manager to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in administrative and medical operations of the facility, ensuring efficient daily front office functions to include scheduling, patient flow, wait times, and overall office performance in partnership with the Clinical Manager.
- Provide leadership and oversight of administrative staff, including training, recruitment, and performance management.
- Ensure a high-quality, patient-centered experience, acting as a patient advocate and maintaining an environment that protects patient rights, safety, dignity, and overall service excellence.
- Oversee patient access and front-end revenue cycle operations, including intake case management, pre-registration, scheduling accuracy, insurance verification, authorizations, co-pay collection, and cash receipt reconciliation.
- Maintain strong EMR and documentation oversight (Athena preferred), ensuring accurate patient records, proper medical record maintenance, and coordination with billing and AR teams to support revenue cycle management and customer service.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness, serving as the primary point of contact for ASC survey preparedness, fire safety, and other polices and procedures.
- Implement, interpret, and enforce organizational policies, procedures, budgets, and long-range operational plans, in alignment with Corporate Administrator guidance and in coordination with clinical leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Professional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a medical office or ambulatory care setting (ASC experience strongly preferred) with direct oversight of front office and administrative staff.
- Demonstrated experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and revenue cycle operations, including co-pay collection, cash handling/reconciliation, superbills, and collaboration with Billing and AR teams.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Athena preferred), with a focus on accurate documentation and workflow efficiency.
- Compliance experience a plus.
