Job Summary

At B. Braun, every product we manufacture helps improve patient care around the world. As a Production Operator I, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality medical devices in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment while developing valuable technical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures and work instructions.
  • Manufacture products according to production schedules, quality standards, and GMP requirements.
  • Monitor product quality and identify non-conforming materials or products for disposition or rework.
  • Complete accurate production records and documentation to support compliance and manufacturing performance tracking.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and minimize defects.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
  • Ability to work overtime or non-standard schedules as needed.
Preferred
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food manufacturing.
  • Industry-related certifications or technical training.
  • Experience with production documentation and quality systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve basic production issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to moving machinery and production equipment.
  • Moderate noise levels requiring adherence to safety procedures.
  • Exposure to chemicals and manufacturing materials in designated areas.
  • Frequent standing and movement throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Work performed in accordance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.

    Hourly Pay Rate: $23.31

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
