Job Summary
At B. Braun, every product we manufacture helps improve patient care around the world. As a Production Operator I, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality medical devices in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment while developing valuable technical and problem-solving skills.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures and work instructions.
- Manufacture products according to production schedules, quality standards, and GMP requirements.
- Monitor product quality and identify non-conforming materials or products for disposition or rework.
- Complete accurate production records and documentation to support compliance and manufacturing performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and minimize defects.
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
- Ability to work overtime or non-standard schedules as needed.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food manufacturing.
- Industry-related certifications or technical training.
- Experience with production documentation and quality systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic production issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to moving machinery and production equipment.
- Moderate noise levels requiring adherence to safety procedures.
- Exposure to chemicals and manufacturing materials in designated areas.
- Frequent standing and movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
- Work performed in accordance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
Hourly Pay Rate: $23.31
The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
