  • Conduct detailed investigations independently, analyzing accident information, damages, documentation, and other relevant claim data.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, attorneys, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants through phone, email, text, and other communication channels.
  • Evaluate and negotiate bodily injury settlements in accordance with applicable legal requirements, business standards, and established claim-handling methodologies.
  • Apply sound negotiation strategies when managing challenging, disputed, or complex claims and work toward fair resolutions.

  • Provide a compassionate, clear, and responsive customer experience throughout the claims process, keeping parties informed of claim progress.
  • Manage competing priorities and claim workloads independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience handling represented bodily injury claims, preferably involving complex or litigation-related matters.
  • Demonstrated experience handling uninsured/underinsured motorist bodily injury (UM/UIM) claims.

  • A Kentucky adjuster license is considered a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively by telephone.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities, with the judgment to evaluate complex information and determine appropriate claim outcomes.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to manage challenging conversations and reach appropriate injury settlements.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and remain organized while handling multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable learning and using innovative claims technology, digital platforms, estimation tools, and settlement systems.
  • Strong documentation skills and consistent attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and clarity throughout sensitive claim interactions.
  • Must be legally able to work from a home-based location in the United States; this opportunity is not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
