Position Summary
The Non-CDL Driver / Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and customer deliveries by safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and company delivery vehicles. This position performs order fulfillment, shipping and receiving activities, loading and unloading trucks, inventory handling, and local deliveries using a bobtail truck or other company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including bobtail trucks, to transport products to customer and company locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and manual pallet jacks in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Pick, stage, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Accurately receive and inspect inbound shipments for quantity and condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, shipping documentation, and inventory transactions.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Record subject to review).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating delivery vehicles and/or warehouse equipment.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and manual pallet jack; forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, orders, and safety instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software.

Physical & Work Environment
Work performed in a warehouse and outdoor environment subject to varying temperatures and weather conditions. Operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles for the majority of the workday.
