Paid Social Media Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Social Media Manager based in the United States.

This is a remote opportunity for a creative, analytical social media professional to take ownership of a high-impact brand’s social media strategy.
You will lead paid social advertising, organic content, influencer marketing, and community engagement across major platforms.
The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, giving you significant autonomy to shape the social roadmap.
You will use performance data, experimentation, and audience insights to drive awareness, engagement, traffic, leads, and customer acquisition.
You will also build and optimize influencer partnerships while testing new channels, formats, and technologies.
Working cross-functionally with creative, content, legal, analytics, and other marketing teams, you will ensure social initiatives support broader business goals.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and own the social media strategy and roadmap across major platforms, aligning activity with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns, including targeting, budgets, creative performance, A/B testing, and incrementality testing.
  • Manage the organic social content calendar and create compelling written, visual, and video content that strengthens brand engagement.
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing programs, including identifying, recruiting, negotiating with, and managing influencer relationships.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, traffic, leads, customer acquisition, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and communicate results and opportunities to leadership.
  • Manage community engagement and brand conversations, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice across social channels.
  • Identify emerging social platforms, content formats, trends, and technologies that could create opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies and internal content, sales, legal, and analytics teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure social messaging, creative, and campaigns align with broader marketing priorities and applicable regulatory or compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, with demonstrated ownership of social programs and measurable business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid social advertising campaigns and influencer marketing initiatives.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills, with the ability to create engaging messaging across multiple social formats.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign performance, identify trends, and turn insights into actionable decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple campaigns, partners, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence collaborating across creative, marketing, analytics, sales, legal, and external agency teams.
  • Experience scaling an influencer marketing program from the ground up is a plus.
  • Experience working in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance review processes for creative and marketing copy is an advantage.
