Summary
The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of all linens at the hotel. This position ensures that linens, towels and other hotel fabrics are clean, sanitized, and neatly presented for guest and staff use. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in supporting a clean and welcoming hotel environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort laundry items by type, fabric, and color before washing.
• Pre-treat and spot-clean stained or soiled items.
• Fold, organize, and store cleaned laundry according to hotel standards.
• Monitor inventory of linens and report shortages or damage to housekeeping leadership.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room at all times.
• Assist with delivery and retrieval of linens to and from guest rooms, housekeeping closets, and public areas as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including handling of chemicals and use of PPE.
• Support other housekeeping team members as needed.

Experience, Skills, and Education
• Proven experience as a professional cleaner or housekeeper or laundry attendant.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Physical stamina and mobility include ability to reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop and bend.
• Ability to push, lift and pull up to 50lbs. of wet and dry laundry. Using ergonomic equipment to assist.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of English language.
• High school degree preferred.
