We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing and Events Coordinator 1 to work in a support role with highly skilled professionals on our Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects. This is a full-time position located in our Burlington, MA office.
In this role, you will plan and deliver the client, industry, and recruiting events that strengthen our brand and support our business development goals. You’ll be responsible for coordinating events from concept through execution, including conferences and trade shows. The successful candidate will bring strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with marketing, technical staff, firm leaders, vendors, and event partners.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:
- Collaborate with market, practice, and conference leaders to understand event goals and target audiences and help align events with business priorities.
- Develop event strategies, project plans, schedules, and success measures.
- Manage conference and trade show logistics, including registration, booth selection, exhibit planning, shipping, signage, advertisements, promotional items, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and employee participation in conferences and industry events.
- Develop and execute event promotion plans, including social media content, email communications, invitations, registration materials, and internal announcements.
- Partner with regional leaders and office teams to plan and deliver office open houses.
- Track event costs, attendance, leads, engagement, and follow-up activities.
- Evaluate event performance and recommend improvements based on results and participant feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop branded event materials and manage related projects, schedules, deliverables, and approvals.
- Maintain the firm's event calendar, standards, templates, and preferred vendor relationships.
- Demonstrate the company's foundational safety behaviors.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or a related field.
- 3+ years of marketing and/or event coordination experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events, vendors, and deadlines at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare invitations, attendee communications, and briefing materials.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders at all levels while managing assignments independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting marketing and events for an architecture, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, or other technical or professional services firm.
- Experience coordinating sponsorships, trade show participation, and speaking opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM reporting for tracking return on investment.
The salary range for this position in Burlington, MA is $60,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market. This role is eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary bonus program. This role may be eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
