Neffsville Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is seeking Plumbing Helpers to join our growing team.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone with little to no plumbing experience who wants to learn the trade and build a long-term career in plumbing.

As a Plumbing Helper, you won’t be assigned to just one area. You’ll jump in wherever the Plumbing team needs support, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining exposure to different areas of the trade.

For individuals who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, initiative, and a commitment to learning, this position can provide a pathway toward our Plumbing Academy, where you’ll have the opportunity to continue developing the skills needed to grow your plumbing career.

Learn & Support the Plumbing Team

• Work alongside experienced plumbers and other team members to learn the fundamentals of residential plumbing.
• Assist Plumbing teams wherever additional support is needed.
• Help prepare job sites, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Carry, stage, load, and unload plumbing materials and equipment.
• Assist with basic plumbing tasks under the direction of experienced team members.
• Learn how plumbing tools, materials, fittings, and equipment are properly used.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with cleanup after jobs are completed.
• Follow instructions and ask questions to continue developing your knowledge of the trade.

Customer Service & Teamwork

• Provide friendly, professional service while working in customers’ homes.
• Treat customers, their homes, and their property with care and respect.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Show up ready to work, learn, and contribute to the team.
• Take feedback and coaching positively and apply what you learn.
• Step in wherever needed to help the Plumbing team succeed.

Safety & Development

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Learn proper use and care of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Demonstrate the performance, reliability, and initiative needed to be considered for advancement opportunities, including the Plumbing Academy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

No Previous Plumbing Experience Required

We can teach plumbing skills. We’re looking for someone who brings the attitude, work ethic, and motivation to learn.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, vocational-technical school education, or GED.
• Current valid driver's license
• Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and build a career in plumbing.
• Motivated, driven, and willing to learn.
• Dependable and committed to showing up ready to work.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction.
• Great customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Comfortable working with your hands and performing physical work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in different areas of the Plumbing department based on business needs.
• Ability to work a varying schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, and materials.

This is a full-time position with hours that vary based on business and customer needs.

• Flexible availability is required.
• Weekend availability is required as needed.
• Start and end times may vary depending on assignments and business needs.

• Work is performed at residential customer locations and other job sites.
• Position involves regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to safely lift and move plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and other residential environments as needed.
• Must follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
