Job Description
Orthopedic Contract Leadership: Serves as the primary liaison for all orthopedic contracts, including implants, instruments, biologics, equipment, and related services. Leads contract development, negotiation support, implementation, and ongoing contract management for orthopedic categories. Maintains strong relationships with orthopedic clinical and executive leaders to ensure contracting strategies align with clinical needs and organizational goals. Monitors contract performance, pricing accuracy, compliance, and vendor adherence to terms.
Project & Process Management: Performs all accountabilities of a Project & Contract Analyst, including data analysis, contract review, financial impact modeling, and project documentation. Leads and coordinates cross‑functional projects related to orthopedic supply standardization, cost‑reduction initiatives, and product conversions. Ensures timely communication of contract changes, product updates, and project milestones to stakeholders. Supports continuous improvement of Supply Chain contracting processes.
Vendor & Supplier Engagement: Acts as the primary Supply Chain contact for orthopedic suppliers and vendors. Facilitates communication, issue resolution, and contract‑related inquiries. Supports vendor onboarding, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring.
Team Support & Development: Shares expertise in orthopedic contracting, analytics, and Supply Chain processes. Promotes a collaborative, learning‑focused team environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business, Nursing, or another healthcare‑related field
Experience
Minimum of 7 to 10 years direct relevant experience, in a healthcare or business setting, in a similar contracting, analytics, or project management role
Other Qualifications
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clinical and executive leaders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Excel and Word. Ability and willingness to teach, mentor, and support others during onboarding and ongoing development. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
