This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Executive – TT based in India.
This is a field-based sales role focused on driving growth across traditional trade channels in a highly dynamic FMCG environment. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with retailers and distributors while ensuring strong product availability and visibility across assigned territories. The role plays a key part in executing in-store merchandising standards and driving impactful promotional activities to boost sell-out performance. You will actively contribute to achieving sales targets through disciplined field execution and consistent market coverage. It requires a strong on-ground presence, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence retail execution. This is a fast-paced role where performance is measured by both visibility and sales outcomes. It offers strong exposure to large-scale consumer goods distribution networks and field sales operations.
- Drive execution in the field by ensuring strong product visibility, availability, and compliance with merchandising standards across retail outlets.
- Implement and monitor promotional activities and trade campaigns to maximize sales impact and customer engagement.
- Coordinate the placement and execution of marketing materials and in-store assets to enhance brand presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors to support sales growth and market penetration.
- Track, report, and communicate field activities, competitor movements, and sales performance insights.
- Support achievement of sales targets through consistent territory coverage and disciplined execution of sales plans.
- Previous experience in field sales, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with retailers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of sales fundamentals, negotiation techniques, and retail execution principles.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to track performance metrics.
- High levels of persistence, motivation, and ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple retail touchpoints efficiently.
