Description
Report to the Discrepant Order Resolution Team Supervisor and work collaboratively with distribution, sales, and sales operations to accurately resolve discrepant orders to meet customer expectations through prompt and thorough action. The Discrepant Order Resolution Associate will prioritize discrepant orders, investigate the discrepancy, find unpicked inventory, unallocated and re-allocate inventory where appropriate or send the discrepant order to sales for order modification. The individual will ensure all discrepant orders are quickly actioned and completely resolved to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Discrepant Order Dashboard to review discrepant orders and prioritize the work to be done based on issue complexity and order ship date.
- Utilize Epicor (ERP) and Starlight systems to investigate the order to fully understand what action needs to happen to fulfill the order to meet the customer requirements.
- Operate all warehouse equipment, including forklift, Starlight, and EPICOR, to physically unpick/un-allocate/pick/allocate/fill and ship impacted orders.
- Act as liaison with Sales Operations to coordinate order changes that impact customers.
- Act as liaison with Sales, Sales Operations, and Quality partners to understand trends in discrepant orders and join cross-functional teams to drive improvement.
- Short-term goals are to resolve all discrepant orders within the expected resolution time.
- Long-term goals are to drive systemic change to eliminate the root cause of errors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Distribution leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum requirement of 3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, inventory, or customer service.
- RF Scan gun and barcode experience a plus, but not required
- Epicor and Starlight ERP experience a plus but not required
- Ability to operate, following all safety procedures, and material handling equipment needed for the position.
- Clearly demonstrates an aptitude and acumen of a high-performing contributor with visible/measurable results from previous efforts.
- Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with an ability to absorb and learn quickly
- Passionate about progress and willing to go the extra mile
