Job Description
Center for Healing & Regenerative Medicine (CHARM) is a growing spine and musculoskeletal platform providing interventional orthopedic, regenerative, and pain management care across a growing network of clinics.
We’re looking for an experienced Regional Operations Director to help lead and scale our Austin-area operations as we continue to grow through de novo clinic openings, acquisitions, and joint venture partnerships.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a high-impact leadership role with significant responsibility for operational performance, growth, provider productivity, financial results, and physician partner relationships across the region.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the operational integration of acquired practices, new clinic openings, and new provider onboarding
- Drive provider scheduling, capacity planning, productivity, patient access, and revenue performance
- Own financial and operational performance for assigned clinics, including budgets, staffing costs, revenue, and clinic-level margin
- Develop and implement scalable operating playbooks, KPIs, workflows, and reporting across locations
- Build, mentor, and lead clinic and regional operations teams with clear performance expectations and accountability
- Serve as a key operational relationship owner for physician and joint venture partners
- Lead regular business reviews focused on financial performance, quality, operational metrics, and growth initiatives
- Identify and address operational, workflow, cultural, and compliance risks across locations
- Partner with Clinical Leadership, Finance, HR, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, IT, and Corporate Development to execute regional and platform-wide initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, clinical throughput, operational efficiency, and financial performance
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including multi-site management
- Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth healthcare services organization
- Demonstrated experience with M&A integration, de novo openings, or rapid multi-site growth
- Direct P&L ownership at the clinic, regional, or business-unit level
- Experience managing physician/provider relationships, including JV or partnership structures
- Strong financial acumen and experience building and managing operating plans and budgets
- Proven experience leading multi-location or regional teams
- MSK, orthopedics, interventional pain, physical therapy, regenerative medicine, or a related specialty is strongly preferred
The Right Fit
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on operator who is comfortable working in a fast-moving growth environment. The right person can move between financial performance, clinic operations, provider relationships, and team leadership, and knows how to turn data into action.
This is not a purely corporate role. Regular presence in the clinics and close relationships with providers and local leadership are an important part of the position.
Location: Austin, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
