Overview

The Program Finance Analyst (Financial Analyst) performs Financial Management and Program Control functions associated with design & engineering contracts managed by the Program Finance Department 626.

The Program Finance team serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.

Skills

• Knowledge of EB Systems (WAF/DLB, Accounting, Planning, Mainframe MRP, Purchasing and Inventory, Oracle) is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
• Able to meet critical deadlines
• Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively with others
• Be interested in and capable of analyzing data with minimal supervision
• Possess a considerable amount of initiative and organizational skills

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and/or Statistics

Preferred:

• 0-3 years of related experience
• Prior Electric Boat internship or co-op experience
• Experience in Government contract cost control
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience reporting and analyzing financial data
• Experience with Earned Value Management
