Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish, coordinate, and lead both on- and off-site events for high-limit guests
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all machines, table games, promotions, and special events.
  • Generate incremental business and drive additional trips from loyal guests through written communication and telemarketing.
  • Maintain an active presence on the casino floor, identifying, engaging and developing high-value and potential high-value guests while monitoring the overall guest experience.
  • Review and evaluate confidential customer profiles, including player activity, play history, offers, preferences, and other relevant information, to determine appropriate customer needs and opportunities daily.
  • Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere with all guests by assisting guests when called upon and generally creating an ongoing host and player relationship.
  • Assist in recognizing guests and issuing comps, as authorized.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints and report all incidents to department leadership.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while promoting positive team member and guest relations.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times when working with other team members and guests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of Casino Host experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese dialects sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift to 40 lbs in weight and be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs in weight throughout the shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management is mandatory.
  • Must be able to handle all types of guest-related situations; relay all guest compliments and complaints to department leadership.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
