Sales Associate/Account Manager in Avon, Colorado at Kodiak Interiors Group

Job Summary

This is a relationship-driven sales role, not just a retail sales position. You'll build a book of business across the local trade community — builders, designers, property managers, architects, and other trade professionals — while also serving independent purchasers who come through or call our showroom. Success in this role depends on your ability to prospect, build lasting relationships, and consistently grow your network, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reps who bring that effort have unlimited earning potential and access to one of the most lucrative sales opportunities in the valley.

Pay

• Training Period: Base pay of $70,000 plus the opportunity to earn a percentage of gross profit on sales, capped at $2,000/month in commissions while in training.
• Full Commission: Once training is complete, reps transition to full commission with unlimited earning potential — no base pay, no cap.

General Accountabilities

• Proactively prospects for and develops new clients — builders, designers, property managers, architects, and other trade professionals — to build and grow a personal book of business.
• Greets and assists all customers, whether by phone or on the showroom floor, in a friendly and professional manner, using product knowledge to guide them to the appliance that best fits their needs.
• Prepares accurate sales quotes and orders using price lists, tax information, and product specifications; processes payments and return requests.
• Represents Specialty Appliance at events, conferences, and trainings.
• Submits bids for new projects and sends all contract, company set-up, insurance, and warranty document requests to office manager for review.
• Exhibits Specialty Appliance Core Values in all interactions with customers and/or prospects — whether in person, on phone, or via email/text. Core Values are: 1. Focus on Customer 2. Teamwork 3. Integrity 4. Accountability 5. Positive Energy 6. Proactive Mindset.
