Video Annotator - Physical AI in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Annotator – Physical AI based in India.

This is a remote freelance opportunity focused on creating high-quality training data for advanced Physical AI and robotics systems.
You will analyze first-person videos captured in industrial and commercial environments and convert them into precise, structured annotations.
Your work will help AI models understand human actions, tools, objects, and real-world task workflows.
The role requires careful temporal segmentation, accurate timestamps, and clear descriptions of visible actions.
You will also review and improve machine-generated annotations to maintain consistency and data quality.
The position is well suited to experienced Physical AI or robotics annotators who can work independently and meet demanding quality standards.
Immediate joiners are preferred, with opportunities to contribute to large-scale AI data operations.

• Review first-person and egocentric videos depicting human activities, tools, objects, and workflows in industrial or commercial environments.

• Divide videos into meaningful action segments and accurately identify the start and end timestamp of each action.

• Apply appropriate action labels and write concise, natural-language descriptions that accurately reflect what is visible.

• Identify relevant hands, objects, tools, and interactions within each video segment.

• Review model-generated annotations, correct inaccuracies, and ensure complete and consistent coverage.

• Follow established annotation guidelines and maintain consistent labeling standards across datasets.

• Identify and escalate ambiguous cases to reviewers when the correct annotation is unclear.

• Complete requested rework accurately and within assigned timelines.

• Consistently meet quality, accuracy, and productivity targets while working independently.

• 1+ year of hands-on experience working with Physical AI, robotics, or industrial egocentric video annotation.

• Prior experience annotating Physical AI datasets is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of temporal action segmentation, video chunking, action labeling, and timestamp precision.

• Ability to accurately describe visible actions, including interactions involving hands, tools, objects, and equipment.

• Experience using video annotation platforms or comparable data-labeling tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual observation skills.

• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines and apply them consistently.

• Strong written communication skills for producing clear and accurate action descriptions.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet quality and productivity expectations.

• Availability for freelance work, with immediate availability preferred.

• Applicants should be prepared to provide a brief description of previous Physical AI annotation projects.
