The Joseph is seeking a skilled, polished, and hospitality-driven On-Call Esthetician to join our luxury Spa team.

As an Esthetician, you will provide personalized skincare services and create a relaxing, elevated experience for each guest. This role requires a passion for wellness, exceptional attention to detail, strong product knowledge, and the ability to anticipate individual guest needs while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service.

The ideal candidate has experience providing professional skincare treatments in a luxury spa, resort, or hospitality environment and understands that exceptional service is found in both technical expertise and thoughtful, genuine guest connections.

• Provide professional facial and skincare treatments in accordance with established spa protocols and service standards.

• Consult with guests to understand their skincare needs, concerns, preferences, and desired results.

• Recommend appropriate treatments, enhancements, products, and home-care routines based on individual guest needs.

• Deliver a personalized and luxurious experience from the beginning through the completion of each service.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of spa treatments, skincare products, ingredients, benefits, and retail offerings.

• Educate guests on skincare products and make thoughtful retail recommendations without compromising the guest experience.

• Prepare treatment rooms before each service and ensure they remain clean, organized, sanitized, and fully stocked.

• Follow all sanitation, safety, hygiene, and infection-control standards.

• Maintain accurate guest information and treatment notes as required.

• Assist with maintaining product and treatment-room inventory.

• Support spa operations and fellow team members as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Maintain guest confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism and discretion at all times.

• Support and consistently deliver Forbes Travel Guide service standards and Marriott luxury brand expectations.

• Create meaningful guest connections by anticipating needs and providing warm, intuitive, and personalized service.

• Participate in ongoing product education, service training, and professional development.

• Maintain a polished and professional appearance consistent with The Joseph's luxury standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Spa leadership.

• Current and valid Tennessee Esthetician License required.

• Previous professional esthetician experience preferred.

• Luxury hotel, resort, or high-end spa experience strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of professional skincare treatments, techniques, products, and ingredients.

• Understanding of Forbes Travel Guide service standards is a plus.

• Marriott or luxury hospitality experience is a plus.

• Strong consultation, communication, and guest service skills.

• Ability to confidently recommend and sell appropriate skincare and retail products.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.

• Professional, polished, warm, and service-oriented demeanor.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a luxury spa team.

• Ability to maintain discretion and protect guest privacy.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing consistently exceptional service.

• Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Ability to perform esthetic services requiring repetitive hand and arm movements.

• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move supplies and equipment as necessary.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
