Job Description

About FieldFlo

At FieldFlō, we’re not just building powerful software for the construction industry — we’re building a culture where passion, grit, and creativity thrive. Our international team is scrappy, driven, and full of heart. We roll up our sleeves, take ownership, and deliver real results for our clients — and we have a damn good time doing it.

We believe that excellence doesn’t have to be boring. Whether we’re solving complex problems or celebrating a win, we bring energy, humor, and a whole lot of team spirit. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas matter, your impact is visible, and your teammates have your back, you’ve found it.

Come join us and help shape the future of construction tech.

The Role

You'll be the first conversation many contractors have with FieldFlō. As a Business Development Representative, you own the top of our funnel: finding the right companies, starting real conversations with owners and operations leaders, and booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives.

This isn't a seat where you inherit a polished machine. You'll run high-volume outbound and help contribute to us building the process behind it — testing messaging, sharpening our ideal customer profile, and turning what works into a repeatable playbook. If you want to continue to develop your sales career at a company where your input shapes how we sell, this is it.

What you'll do
  • Prospect with volume and intent. Run multi-channel outbound — calls, email, LinkedIn, and event follow-up — every day, with a clear plan behind every touch.
  • Book meetings that matter. Qualify prospective companies against our ICP and set first meetings for Account Executives that turn into real pipeline, not calendar filler.
  • Do the homework. Research target accounts so every outreach speaks to that contractor's crews, compliance burden, and job-costing headaches.
  • Lead with the customer's outcome. Understand and convey how FieldFlō saves time, reduces risk, and protects margin in language a field ops leader respects.
  • Build the playbook. Test sequences, talk tracks, and objection handling; share what's working and help make it repeatable for the team.
  • Keep HubSpot clean. Log activity, notes, and stages accurately so leadership can trust the pipeline.
  • Work across the company. Partner with Marketing on campaigns and events, with Customer Success on customer insight, and with sales leadership on pipeline initiatives.
Who you are

We hire for character first. Four traits matter most in this seat:

  • Curious. You want to know how a demo contractor bids a job, why an abatement crew loses hours to paperwork, and what keeps an owner up at night. You ask the second and third question. You treat every call as a chance to learn something about the customer, the market, or yourself.
  • Driven. You set your own bar and hold yourself to it. You know your numbers before anyone asks, you make the extra dials when the week is behind, and you're hungry to grow into a closing role.
  • Resilient. Outbound means hearing "no" far more than "yes." You don't take it personally, you don't go quiet, and you don't lower your standards. You reset, learn from it, and pick up the phone again.
  • Coachable. You want feedback and act on it fast. You listen to your call recordings, take notes in 1:1s, and show up the next week with the adjustment already made.
What you bring
  • 1+ years in business development, sales development, or another outbound sales role
  • Clear, confident writing and phone presence, including handling objections in the moment
  • Organization and discipline to run a structured process at high volume
  • Comfort with ambiguity — you can build structure where there isn't any yet
  • AI familiar or fluent — you use AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, and work smarter
  • A coachable, team-first attitude and energy that lifts the room
Bonus points
  • Experience in construction, field services, or selling to blue-collar or trades businesses
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, or SalesLoft
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
How we work

Our values aren't wall art. Here's what they look like in this role:

  • Be Kind. We don't swing hammers on each other. You treat every prospect with respect — even the one who hangs up — and you have your teammates' backs on the tough days.
  • Obsess Over Client Success. Every conversation starts with the contractor's reality. You're not pushing software; you're finding out whether we can make their lives better.
  • Finish The Job. If you commit, you deliver. You follow up when you said you would, hand off meetings with full context, and never leave a loose end in the CRM.
  • Build Better Every Day. "That's how it's always been done" doesn't fly here. You experiment with messaging, study your results, and raise the bar for yourself and the team.
  • Bring The Fun. The work is serious, but we don't have to be stiff about it. We celebrate booked meetings, find laughs in the grind, and enjoy doing hard things together.
What we offer
  • Base salary: $50,000–$55,000, plus performance-based variable pay
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible time off
  • Hybrid schedule based in Denver, CO
  • Cell phone and internet stipend
  • A front-row seat to building a sales team, and a real path to grow your career with it

If you're curious, driven, and built to bounce back, we'd love to hear from you.
