Join our dedicated care team as a Patient Care Technician, where you will provide compassionate, specialized recovery support for burn patients across their entire lifespan—from pediatric to geriatric care. Working under the guidance of our Nurse Manager and alongside registered nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary specialists, you will play an invaluable role in our patients' healing journeys.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Hands-On, Specialized Care: Support patients through clinical procedures, specialized dressing changes, and daily activities (ADLs) tailored to burn recovery.
- Monitor & Assess: Accurately track vital signs and closely observe patient conditions, serving as a critical line of defense in identifying changes.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Act as a vital link between patients and the care team by proactively reporting updates to supervising RNs and physicians.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation of all care delivered, upholding our commitment to quality and safety.

The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.
- Requires a high school diploma or GED and certification from an accredited nursing assistant/health aide program.
- Experience:
- Prefer at least one (1) year of hospital experience as a CNA, PCT, or EMT, preferably in a burn/wound care environment.
- Requires certification by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as a CNA or certification as an EMT by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Trauma System for EMTs, or a nationally recognized equivalent certificate.
- Requires a BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- PALS, ACLS, and ABLS certification is preferred within one year of employment.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work with culturally diverse people.
- Requires excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
