We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across hospitals, health systems, and integrated delivery networks. You’ll own the full sales cycle for our solutions, building relationships with healthcare leaders and helping organizations improve workflows, operational efficiency, financial performance, and the patient experience.
The ideal candidate understands how health systems evaluate and purchase technology, can navigate complex buying committees, and connects technical capabilities to measurable organizational value.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new hospital and health system customers and expand existing relationships.
Build a qualified pipeline through targeted outreach, industry relationships, events, and collaboration with marketing and sales development.
Engage executive and operational stakeholders, including CIOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, CISOs, CFOs, clinical leaders, and procurement teams.
Lead discovery to understand each organization’s clinical and operational priorities, technology environment, budget, and decision-making process.
Position our solutions against customer needs, including workflow improvement, interoperability, clinician adoption, patient access, and cost reduction, as applicable.
Partner with solutions consultants and technical teams to address EHR integration, data exchange, security, privacy, and implementation requirements.
Build business cases and proposals that clearly communicate expected value, total cost of ownership, and measurable success criteria.
Navigate lengthy, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including budget approvals, IT governance, vendor risk assessments, legal review, and contracting.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while coordinating appropriate internal expertise for service agreements and business associate agreements.
Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity records, and revenue forecasts in the CRM.
Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams to establish clear expectations and support a smooth transition from sales to deployment.
Share customer and market insights to inform product development and go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated success selling enterprise healthcare IT solutions to hospitals, health systems, or integrated delivery networks.
A track record of meeting or exceeding quota and closing complex agreements involving multiple facilities or departments.
An understanding of hospital operations, workflows, and the financial and organizational pressures that shape technology investments.
Experience building relationships with healthcare executives and developing internal champions across clinical, IT, and business teams.
Ability to explain technical concepts in business terms and develop credible, customer-specific value propositions.
Familiarity with EHR ecosystems, interoperability concepts, and healthcare data privacy and security considerations.
Experience navigating health system procurement, contracting, and technology evaluation processes.
Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, account planning, and forecasting skills.
Willingness to travel for customer meetings, conferences, and company events.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling healthcare IT platforms/solutions within a hospital or health system setting.
Familiarity with major EHR environments, such as Epic, Oracle Health, or MEDITECH.
Working knowledge of healthcare integration standards, including HL7 and FHIR.
Experience using a structured enterprise sales methodology.
An established professional network within the hospital and health system market.
