About the Role
Bohler’s Albany, NY office is seeking an Engineering Technical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. In this role, you’ll support engineering production, print operations, and quality tracking to help deliver land development projects throughout the Capital District.
You’ll serve as the go-to resource for keeping plans organized, equipment functioning, and workflows on schedule, ensuring teams have what they need, when they need it.
What You’ll Do
- Manage print production using KIP and HP SmartStream systems, serving as the office resource for plotters and related equipment
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and maintain supplies to keep production running smoothly
- Prepare, sign, and seal physical and electronic engineering plans
- Support quality control tracking by updating logs, reviewing checklists, and coordinating with team members on missing items
- Maintain accurate records, scan and archive files, and support overall document organization

What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience supporting a team in an administrative or technical support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive mindset and strong follow-through
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
