Job Description
The Warehouse Senior Lead will assist the Warehouse Floor Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast moving environment. They will be responsible for overseeing day to day functions of the warehouse, in both Inbound and Outbound, to ensure that the company’s targets and objectives are met to meet the customer requirements. They will ensure that staff are complying with health, safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
SCHEDULE - 7:00am- 3:30pm Monday – Friday with Overtime, Saturday as needed.
LOCATION - 270 Samuel Barnet Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily warehouse operations for both Inbound and Outbound processes
- Train, supervise and evaluate warehouse team members and provide ongoing coaching to ensure adherence to procedures
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, tracking inbound and outbound goods, performing audits and ensuring accurate recordkeeping
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, orderly and safe
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and enforcing OSHA safety regulations
- Assist with process improvement by identifying inefficiencies in warehouse processes and collaborate with management to implement strategic improvements to boost Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a liaison with other departments to ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to complete any job requirement of a Warehouse I-III Associate
- Ability to complete any job requirement of any Warehouse Lead positions
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficiency with warehouse management system (WMS), On Line Ordering (OLO) and operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems proactively
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Outstanding ability to multitask
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous leadership experience
- Knowledge of both operations and inventory aspects of a warehouse environment
- Proficient with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, power point, word, etc)
- Strong knowledge of Made4Net and OLO systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach and use hands, fingers, and arms
- Ability to move about the facility
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to moderate noise level.

- Closed toe footwear required when entering the Production Floor (as needed).
