  • Design and implement manufacturing process improvements, including plan layouts and workflow enhancements.
  • Lead new product introduction activities by collaborating with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
  • Apply statistical process control methods to monitor and control manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to machining, injection molding, and other production operations.
  • Document process changes, maintain process control plans, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Train and support production staff on new manufacturing techniques and equipment usage.

Skills:

The required skills such as CNC programming and machining are essential for daily tasks involving the setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to ensure precision and efficiency. Manufacturing engineering expertise allows the engineer to design and refine production processes, including plan layouts and injection molding operations, to meet production goals and quality standards. Statistical process control skills are applied to monitor process performance and implement corrective actions proactively, reducing defects and variability. Preferred skills like new product introduction experience and knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies enable the engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage complex projects effectively.
