Imaging Assistant

Help Patients Get Where They Need to Be.

As an Imaging Assistant at Froedtert South, you'll play an important role in keeping Imaging Services running smoothly while helping patients feel welcome, comfortable, and supported.

You'll work closely with technologists, nurses, physicians, and other team members to prepare patients and imaging areas for examinations.

What You'll Do

• Transport and assist patients to and from imaging examinations.
• Help prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures.
• Assist technologists with patient positioning and workflow as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked imaging areas.
• Transport equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist with patient transfers while maintaining safety and dignity.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Help coordinate patient flow throughout the department.
• Deliver and retrieve patient records, supplies, and other materials as needed.
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and members of the healthcare team.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred/required according to position requirements.
• Previous healthcare, customer service, or patient-care experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) preferred
• Enrolled in a school of Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology program and in good academic standing.
• Ability to safely assist with patient movement and transfers.

Pay & Benefits

$15.50 - $23.75 (Pay is based on experience.)
