Director of Sales Enablement

TRAXX is looking for a commercially minded, systems-savvy leader to join our team as Director of Sales Enablement. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to turn strategy into structure—building clear workflows, stronger handoffs, better reporting, and scalable support for customers, Business Development Managers, and commercial teams. Reporting to the VP, Commercial, you will lead the support functions that keep quoting, booking, contracting, customer service, and system adoption moving with consistency, accuracy, and speed.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the commercial support team across contact centre performance, charter coordination, contracting, booking quality, systems administration, and process improvement.
- Translate commercial priorities into practical workflows, clear expectations, training plans, service standards, and measurable outcomes.
- Strengthen quote handling, inquiry routing, booking speed, customer experience, and service consistency across inbound channels.
- Create clear ownership, escalation paths, documentation standards, and handoff points between the Contact Centre, Charter Coordinators, Contracting Coordinator, BDMs, operations, and Commercial leadership.
- Oversee contracting, renewals, amendments, pricing schedules, RFP/bid coordination, and commercial documentation standards.
- Improve booking accuracy, audit routines, post-confirmation maintenance, operational readiness checks, and process compliance.
- Lead adoption and optimization of commercial platforms, including CRM, Coach Manager, Ventrata, and contact centre/telephony tools.
- Develop dashboards and reporting that show quote activity, conversion, response times, booking quality, contract status, workload, and process bottlenecks.
- Partner with the VP, Commercial on pricing governance, margin protection, contract standards, capacity planning, and exceptions requiring leadership review.
- Coach direct reports, build cross-training and coverage plans, document SOPs, and support change adoption across commercial support functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, finance or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales enablement, sales operations, contact centre leadership, business process improvement, transportation operations support, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading managers, coordinators, operational support teams, or cross-functional teams through change.
- Advanced understanding of CRM platforms, booking systems, contact centre workflows, quote handling, user adoption, data integrity, reporting, and process governance.
- Proven ability to turn strategic priorities into practical workflows, SOPs, performance standards, training plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Confident communicator and coach with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, accountability, and change management capability.
- Transportation, tourism, charter, logistics, travel trade, contact centre, or service-based business experience is considered an asset.
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support business priorities and seasonal demand.
- Remote work available, however hybrid is preferred if you are located in the Edmonton area.

- Competitive compensation of $135,000 to $145,000 annually based on a combination of experience, qualifications and education.
