Job Description

American Heritage Lending, LLC located in Irvine CA is looking for a Wholesale Account Manager.

Position Overview:
The Account Manager is responsible for being the primary point of contact with broker partners for loans in process, proactively identifying key events and timelines, while gathering required loan documentation. The Account Manager will typically manage a pipeline of 50 – 70 active loans.
The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, a high level of motivation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable to change, and is extremely driven.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
  • Maintains knowledge of all policies and modifications to the guidelines and standards of the company, federal housing programs, investors, and private mortgage insurers.
  • Maintains and updates loan application information within loan origination software and other applications.Verifies the data collected, analyzes, and decides whether it meets guidelines or if other documentation is needed; documents communication through the conversation log; ensures loan application is in compliance with underwriting, investor, RESPA, and HMDA guidelines.Identifies Changes in Loan to ensure appropriate disclosures are provided to the Borrower in a timely manner.Calculates income, reviews assets and liabilities.Reviews all disclosures for completeness and compliance.Completes final evaluation and analysis of completed application packages and submits eligible files specifying any applicable conditions.Monitors rate lock for data integrity and expiration dates; communicates discrepancies to the Account Executive.As applicable, orders appraisals, title, survey, verifications, and any other items required for loan approval; conducts regular follow-ups with outside sources regarding outstanding documents.Maintains accurate pipeline to ensure proper projections, closings, and regulatory compliance with Company, Federal, and State standards.Updates Account Executive, Brokers and Management on loan status.Maintains communication with Account Executive and Broker throughout the loan process, assisting them with any questions and notifying them of any additional requirements.Maintains a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
Experience & Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Processor/Account Manager required5+ Demonstrated experience in or knowledge of the Mortgage industry requiredDemonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting dataDemonstrated experience using available information to make sound business decisionsDemonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environmentDemonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlinesDemonstrated experience with MS Office software products Encompass Loan Origination Software: 2 years (Preferred)
