About the role

Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is looking for an experienced Group Rooms Coordinator with exceptional attention to detail to join our Sales & Revenue departments. The Group Rooms Coordinator will work with our luxury urban resort’s in-house groups, including conferences, retreats, social events, lodging and other groups as needed to support the sales managers as well as property operations and events teams.

What you'll do

  • Communicate with leadership and reservations in identifying VIP reservations and group welcome amenities
  • Coordinate the group rooming list, and make necessary reservations
  • Compile, distribute, and update group resumes
  • Attend weekly property operations, group resume & BEO meetings
  • Attend pre-conference meetings with client(s) and management team members
  • Assist with greeting clients upon arrival
  • Produce accurate and timely reports
  • Create and set up appropriate event/group signage every week

Qualifications

  • Passionate about hospitality sales and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred
  • Previous experience providing service to others and providing administrative support in a team-oriented environment
  • Excels at verbal and written communication
  • Flexible and driven to get the job done
