This is a high-impact, field-based leadership opportunity for a strategic oncology professional passionate about advancing innovation in lung cancer care. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), major academic institutions, and cross-functional commercial teams to shape engagement strategies and support successful product launches in the oncology space. You will serve as a trusted expert in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), helping translate scientific insights into meaningful commercial initiatives. The position offers strong visibility across marketing, medical affairs, sales, and analytics teams while contributing directly to brand strategy and market readiness. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing both external stakeholders and internal decision-making. Extensive travel throughout the Central Rockies region is expected.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lung cancer KOLs, academic institutions, and strategic accounts across the Central Rockies region.
- Lead the development and execution of regional engagement strategies, congress plans, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Analytics to align commercialization efforts and customer engagement strategies.
- Provide expert-level insights into NSCLC clinical practices, market trends, and customer needs to help shape brand positioning and launch readiness activities.
- Support national and regional scientific meetings by executing integrated commercial and promotional initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to tactical planning, launch execution, quarterly business reviews, and other key commercial deliverables.
- Develop promotional content, speaker programs, and educational materials while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Identify market opportunities, barriers, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making and improve customer engagement outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree such as MBA, PharmD, PhD, MA, or MS preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oncology, pharmaceutical marketing, field-based commercial strategy, or healthcare consulting.
- Strong expertise in lung cancer and NSCLC treatment landscapes, including experience supporting oncology product launches.
- Proven experience working with KOLs and executing compliant engagement strategies within the healthcare or biotech industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and execute strategic plans independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 65%) within the assigned region.
- Must reside within the designated territory.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $231,000 to $254,000 USD.
