Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Manage and lead the commercial HVAC & Plumbing sales team, overseeing department monthly projections to achieve both department and corporate monthly and yearly goals. Responsible for cash flow management through supervision of service billing, project billing, warranty management, project cost projections, and accounts receivable. Drive marketing and operating plans, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure safety and employee work-life balance.

Responsible for cash flow management through supervision of service billing, project billing, warranty management, project cost projections, and accounts receivable. Drive marketing and operating plans, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure safety and employee work-life balance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and develop a team of direct reports to meet monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Oversee department projections monthly, aligning team efforts with corporate objectives.
- Manage cash flow by overseeing service billing, project billing, warranty administration, project cost projections, and accounts receivable.
- Conduct quarterly key performance indicators (KPI) meetings to review team performance.
- Carry out annual performance reviews and develop personalized development plans for each team member.
- Develop and execute marketing and operating plans to achieve department and corporate goals.
- Foster and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and support.
- Promote a culture of safety and prioritize employee work-life balance throughout the team.
- Leverage technology tools, including Salesforce reporting, AI prompts, and Smartsheet for project tracking and team motivation.
- Serve as an organizational and self-motivated leader, driving team accountability and efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- 10 years of experience in service or sales roles.
- Proven record of managing sales teams and meeting revenue targets.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, including proactive communication and skillful relationship recovery when issues arise.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand how sales performance impacts operations, resource allocation, and team capacity across the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong self-motivation.
- Proficient in Salesforce reporting, AI prompt utilization, and Smartsheet creation and management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster team collaboration.
- Skilled in cash flow management, billing oversight, and warranty administration.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in conducting KPI meetings, annual reviews, and staff development.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous management experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing sales environments.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
- Work primarily performed in office and customer-site environments.
- Occasional local travel to job sites and customer locations may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment demanding multitasking and organizational skills.
