California Orthopaedic Institute is a dedicated surgical group comprising fourteen physicians and approximately 100 employees, specializing in comprehensive Orthopaedic medical care. Our mission is to provide exceptional surgical, physical, and occupational therapy services, along with advanced radiology and diagnostic MRI.

Summary

California Orthopaedic Institute has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant in our 14 Physician Orthopedic surgery group. Candidates with Orthopedic experience are preferred. This candidate must understand the referral and authorization process and have computer and electronic medical record skills. Knowledge of various insurances, including Workers Compensation, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare, etc., is necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

This is a Full-Time, Monday thru Friday position with excellent benefits including medical, vision & dental insurance, 401K & 401K profit sharing. Salary is commensurate with experience. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

We are a busy practice, and candidates require excellent organizational and technical skills as well as energy, current knowledge and experience. The ability to multi-task is a must.
