Job Description
DarkStar Intelligence seeks a talented SharePoint Management Specialist to provide expert SharePoint development, administration, and information management support to the PM MAGTF C2 program office. This position focuses on designing, building, maintaining, and securing SharePoint portals that enable effective collaboration and data integrity across the program office. The selected candidate will develop custom workflows, manage user permissions, deliver graphic design and .NET-based development aligned to Marine Corps style guides, and provide Tier 1 service desk support, all compliant with the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN). This role supports the full data and system management lifecycle, including legacy data audits, information architecture and metadata taxonomy design, Microsoft Teams site maintenance, and document routing and configuration management.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award
Responsibilities
- Perform SharePoint maintenance, development, and training on the existing PM MAGTF C2 site.
- Design, build, maintain, and secure SharePoint portals; develop custom workflows; manage user permissions; troubleshoot platform issues.
- Provide Tier 1 (service desk) support for SharePoint access and permission issues; escalate complex issues.
- Deliver graphic design and .NET-based development to develop/maintain SharePoint site collections aligned to Marine Corps style guides and compliant with the MCEN.
- Develop and manage site collection hierarchy; create/maintain data structures, lists, and libraries.
- Conduct legacy data audits; recommend information architecture and metadata taxonomy; edit metadata to simplify Boolean search retrieval.
- Maintain portfolio Microsoft Teams sites, folders, schedules, and distribution lists; develop document routing processes/templates and maintain configuration management.
- Possess basic knowledge of SharePoint infrastructure (database, network, security, server, storage, workstations) and tools (CorasWorks, SharePoint Designer 2013, MS Project, Excel Services, InfoPath), plus JavaScript, HTML, and jQuery.
