Strive Dental Management is recruiting on behalf of Rose Dental Group which is a premier dental practice in the Austin area for over 25 years. Position Summary:

• The Dental Hygienist will clean teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for sign of oral disease. The position educates patients on oral hygiene, takes and develops x-rays, and applies fluoride or sealants. The Dental Hygienist is responsible for patient data collection and documentation.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene required.
• Registered Dental Hygiene license in Texas required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• N2O certification required.
• Educated and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
• Prefer Laser certification.
• Experience with Dental Vision software.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of Federal, State and institutional regulations and guidelines for the provision of dental services.
• Complies with Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
• Ability to operate standard dental equipment including Cavitron, Prophyject, X-Ray, Dental Chair and Unit, Sterilizers, Hand Scalers, Curettes and hand pieces.
• Strong patient care skills.
• Skill in providing excellent customer service and support.
• Able to multitask and handle multiple business and workplace changes that may arise.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
• Able to work well on a team and independently.
• Able to be perform work with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and co-workers.
• Ability to respond professionally in stressful situations.
• Possess critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Must be computer literate with ability to enter information in the company’s patient tracking system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Internet Explorer.

Other Requirements:

• Days and hours of the position take place between Monday – Saturday. Office work hours vary by location.
• Maintain Continuing Education credits
• Maintain CPR accreditation
