Communications Intern at City of Chanhassen – Chanhassen, Minnesota

Communications Intern (40 hours/week)
The City of Chanhassen is now accepting applications for a Communications Intern. This position will support the Communications team both in the field and in the office. Tasks and projects for this role include creating content for social media, website and email platforms, writing, graphic design, video production, photography and assisting with public relations efforts.

An ideal candidate for the position is creative, enthusiastic and well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite programs and DSLR cameras. Meaningful experience with graphic design is important and portfolios will be required. Interns will gain hands-on experience and training in various communication mediums, as well as a detailed understanding of working in local government.
