Description

Scriptly, a growing startup in the Pharmacy Technology sector is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its product development team. Reporting to the CTO, this individual will be responsible for new feature development and ongoing feature maintenance for Scriptly's flagship product, Scriptly Pharmacy Management.


In this role, you should be able to work both independently and in a team environment. This role will work closely with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects.


Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.


Responsibilities

• Must be able to combine analytical and problem-solving abilities with interpersonal communication.

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture

• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

• Review and implement complex industry specifications

• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

• Review and debug code

• Perform validation and verification testing

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products

• Document development phases and monitor systems

• Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies


Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable in programming methodology, computer software, data communication, and report processing

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer

• Strong knowledge of .Net

• Experience in Front End Frameworks (e.g., Vue.js)

• In-depth knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with various operating systems

• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Excellent time-management skills and should be able to analyze problems independently

• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work effectively

• Familiarity with pharmacy preferred

• Pass a drug test and a criminal background check prior to hire

• Pass the Medicare OIG check prior to hire
