Job Description

About the Role:

The Radiology Technologist in the Operating Room plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by providing high-quality imaging services that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires the technologist to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures. The technologist will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver timely and accurate imaging results that are essential for surgical interventions. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current BLS Certification

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the operating room, including fluoroscopy and portable X-rays.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
