Weekend Transit Driver at SAWYER LCO TRANSIT COMMISSION – Hayward, Wisconsin

The Namekagon Transit is looking for a Part Time Weekend Transit Driver, 20 to 24 hours per week.

Duties:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods and/or passengers to their designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo or passengers as required
- Plan routes and navigate using GPS or maps to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) if required
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility in working hours, must be able to work every other weekend.

Note: Previous experience as a driver is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
