PRN Physical Therapist - Wellness Center

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, implements, administers physical therapy modalities and procedures per State of OhioLaws and Rules Regulating the Practice of Physical TherapyChapter4755. of the OhioRevised Code; Chapters 4755-21 to 4755-29 of the OhioAdministrative Code. The Physical Therapist will provide leadership for the implementation of specialty programs and demonstrate professional conductthat is consistent with the Code of Ethicsfor the Physical Therapist of the American Physical Therapy Association. The Physical Therapist will be required to assist in other areas as assigned that may include Acute Care, Rehabilitation Unit, Transitional Care Unit, , Pediatrics, LMHS Outpatient, and the Wellness Center. This job is measured with age specific criteria.

Education: The Physical Therapist must be a graduate of an accredited school of theAmerican Physical Therapy Association

Licensure/Certification: must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the Physical Therapy Board of Ohio in accordance with The State of OhioLawsand Rules Regulating the Practice of Physical Therapy Chapter 4755. of the Ohio Revised Code; Chapters 4755-21 to 4755-29 of the Ohio Administrative Code American Physical Therapy Association membership is encouraged for this position

Experience: No previous experience required however, 1-2 years clinical experience recommended

Skills: Strong communication and listening skills, demonstrated initiative, and the ability to multi-task are required. Must have documented overall general knowledge of PT/OT/ST as a profession,. Demonstrated leadership and timeliness are also required.
