The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily hotel operations. This leadership role is instrumental in driving operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and cultivating a culture rooted in accountability, service, and teamwork.

What You Will Do:

• Support the General Manager in the pre-opening phase to ensure departments are operationally ready for launch and participate in brand onboarding
• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and ensure service recovery standards are consistently met
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members
• Monitor financial performance, including labor management, revenue optimization, and expense control
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Maintain a strong, positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and professional growth
• Serve and act as General Manager in his/her absence

• 2-5 years in a hotel leadership role (AGM, Director of Front Office, Operations Manager, or similar role preferred)
• Pre-opening hotel experience strongly preferred
• Dual-brand or multi-property experience a plus
• Hilton brand experience and familiarity with OnQ systems preferred
• Extended-stay hotel experience, including long-term guest management
• Food and beverage or bar operations experience a plus
• P&L, labor management, and budgeting, with a track record of driving guest satisfaction and financial results
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, opening or growth-focused environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
